Text Adverts
Text ads are probably the most cost effective
advertising on the internet, they are quick to construct and provide
direct communication with visitors who have shown a direct interest
in your product or service. Each text ad consists of three
parts:
| Title (upto 25 chars) |
This need to highlight the product
or service on offer
|
| Description (upto 70 chars). |
This needs to accurately describe
the product or service in a manner to encourage further
investigation offer refered to as a "call to action"
statement.

| Contact details |
This can be
either
a website address ie www.sample.com.
The visitor will be directed to this address when
they click on the title of the advert.
or
in some cases advertisers do not have or want enquiries to
be directed to a website. An alternative would be an Email
address. In this case the visitor would be directed to the
tel24 information centres where they could obtain the
address. (this Email address would not appear on the advert)
or
a telephone contact can be given, again the visitor would be
directed to the Tel24 information call centre where they
could obtain the number.(again the telephone number would
not appear on the advert).
In the cases of the Email or telephone contacts, the use of
the Tel24 information centres monitors each request for
details and quickly detects spammers who try to obtain user
details and are prevented from using the system.
